Nikki is deeply passionate about human rights and social justice, a commitment that shapes both her personal values and professional career. She brings over a decade of experience across the community services sector, backed by a strong foundation of volunteering in her local community and organising fundraising.

Nikki holds a Diploma in Community Services and a Bachelor of Human Services. Operating through a trauma-informed lens, she focuses on recognising an individual’s innate strengths. She is dedicated to helping people navigate complex, intersectional systems to uphold their dignity, protect their rights, and expand their capacity for self-determination.

Joining Side By Side Advocacy in June 2026, Nikki leverages a rich background spanning both government departments and not-for-profit organisations. Her diverse expertise includes crisis intervention, disability advocacy, and aged care. Throughout her career, she has successfully led teams, managed events and volunteers, coordinated community outreach, and supported children from Out-of-Home Care (OOHC) backgrounds. Nikki also spearheaded a notable social impact project that developed innovative solutions for individuals experiencing homelessness and social isolation.
