Marian Casey is an accomplished adult educator and senior volunteer leader with more than 15 years’ experience driving organisational transformation across government, health, emergency services, and the not-for-profit sector. She currently serves as Volunteer Engagement Account Strategist at a technology company, leading international thought leadership, industry advocacy, and strategic volunteer leadership.
Marian has held leadership roles across the NSW State Emergency Service, St John Ambulance NSW, Macquarie University, and Sydney University, delivering major state-wide training reforms, complex change programs, and multi-million-dollar education initiatives. Outside of work she is currently Deputy Commissioner of Strategy for St John NSW, she supports over 3,500 volunteers and leads organisation-wide engagement, retention, policy, and governance projects. Recognised as Liquid Learning’s Woman of the Year 2025, Liquid Learning’s Not-for-Profit Leader of the Year 2025, Western Sydney Women’s Woman of the Year 2023, Western Sydney Women’s Volunteer of the Year 2023, and Central Sydney Volunteer of the Year 2022; Marian is known for her strategic insights and commitment to community impact.
